David Green is a highly experienced golf industry leader and PGA professional with a long career spanning coaching, club management, and strategic development. After turning professional in his teens, he competed in regional and national events before transitioning into club roles that included head professional, director of golf, and general manager positions. His broad experience has given him deep insight into both the playing and operational sides of the game.
As General Manager of Basingstoke Golf Club, David is at the forefront of one of English golf’s most ambitious redevelopment projects. He is leading the club through its relocation and transformation into a state-of-the-art facility on a new site, with a championship course, modern clubhouse, and expanded practice amenities. Under his leadership, the club is positioned to become one of the south’s premier golf destinations, blending tradition with a modern vision while maintaining high standards for members and guests alike.
