Trump Turnberry is a world-renowned golf resort located on the west coast of Scotland in South Ayrshire. Originally opened in 1906, it features the iconic Ailsa Course, which has hosted four Open Championships, including the legendary 1977 “Duel in the Sun” between Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson. In 2014, the resort was purchased by Donald Trump and underwent a major renovation, rebranding as Trump Turnberry and elevating its status as a luxury golf destination. The most recent redesign of the Ailsa Course was led by Martin Ebert of Mackenzie & Ebert, who introduced significant changes to enhance strategy, flow, and the dramatic coastal views.
The transformation has been widely praised, solidifying Turnberry’s place among the top golf courses in the world. Beyond the course, the resort features a five-star hotel, spa, and event facilities, attracting golfers and luxury traveler's from around the globe.
